I think the communication between the servicing staff and interface staff with clients. After having a "major" servicing my check engine light was still on only to find out that: 1) the client coordinator had no idea it was on since the service staff didn't tell him 2) if I wanted to find out what the check engine light meant I'd need to pay an additional $240 diagnostic fee 3) was told actually the light could be a part under warranty but that part is no longer made 4) I wouldn't have to pay the diagnostic fee if something is under warranty but still need to pay to have my check engine light assessed (what?) 5) client coordinator couldn't email me a description of what he described because it was "verbal" and didn't want to put anything in writing. Very displeased with the communication and customer service.

First, my car was not serviced on 2/29. This must be the date my extended warranty company paid after I paid my $200 deductible. My car was first serviced on 2/6. Them I had some issues within a couple days and took it back. It was in the shop then from 2/12 to 2/16. I was told this additional issues had nothing to do with the service. However, considering my service prior to all this took 3 visits to get it right, I was skeptical. My last service, before this one, involved a bad oil filter that leaked all over my driveway and garage. They did finally put a new one on instead of tightening and the leak stopped. This is why I was skeptical. So I guess just bad luck for me with my last two services. I will say Kyle was great. I’m thinking he may not have been in control of what was happening with my car. I was told at one point, byJennifer, that the service manager was involved and would be in contact with me, but that never happened. The only one I heard from was Kyle. Anyway my car is running well now. I keep it serviced and do everything on the service menus, however, I will re-think doing all the recommended service in the future and when I’m ready for a new car I my change brands.

I actually may have had the best dealer experience of all time. I am a car guy, and am often at dealerships. The reception, both on phone and in person was exceptional. Ulyses with service was polite, friendly and knows his work well. Geo in parts was polite. I would say that this dealership should get an award for exceptional and friendly service The space was clean and well put together-user friendly. I should mention also that the van driver who I drove with twice was as good as they get as well.

Drove 60 miles for the advertised price for a model that was available at my local dealer. Test drove and was ready to buy, sat down with the salesman and was given an inflated price due to dealer mark up. Thanked the salesman for his time but said I would not pay markup due to a large supply of this model that I would look elsewhere, then the game started, let me talk to my manager and he game back with 2 out of 3 mark ups eliminated. There was several other issues that I could list but I won’t go into detail. The pressure continued all the way through the finance end of the transition as well. So in closing, I love my car, have been buying GM since 1979 and probably won’t be the last but I will not be returning or recommending anyone to Novato Chevrolet

I was early but they took me anyway. Everything went fine. It seems that checking out is a little slow. The car was ready (sitting on the lot) but I still had to wait about 20 minutes or more for them to come get me.
